Simplicity Flooring & Tile stands behind the quality of our workmanship and the flooring systems we install. The following outlines our warranty coverage for residential and commercial projects.

This page represents our official warranty policy and applies to qualifying installations performed by Simplicity Flooring & Tile.


Residential Coating Systems

(Epoxy & Concrete Coatings)

Limited Lifetime Warranty – Original Property Owner

Residential epoxy and concrete coating systems include a Limited Lifetime Warranty for the original property owner.

This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser of the installed system. If ownership of the property changes, the warranty does not transfer to the new owner.

Coverage Includes:

  • Delamination resulting from installation failure

  • Material defects directly related to coating performance under normal residential use

This Warranty Does Not Cover:

  • Abuse, impact damage, or misuse

  • Structural movement, cracking, or failure of the concrete slab

  • Moisture intrusion beyond industry tolerance levels

  • Flooding, standing water, or water intrusion events

  • Chemical exposure outside specified system tolerances

  • Acts of God, force majeure events, or circumstances beyond reasonable control

Warranty claims must be submitted in writing. Inspection and verification by Simplicity Flooring & Tile are required prior to repair authorization.


Residential Flooring Installations (Non-Coating Materials)

All residential flooring materials (including carpet, tile, laminate, hardwood, and luxury vinyl plank) are covered under their respective manufacturer warranties.

Manufacturer warranty terms, coverage length, and limitations vary by product. Simplicity Flooring & Tile will assist clients in coordinating manufacturer warranty claims when applicable.


Labor Warranty – All Installations

All installations include a One-Year Labor Warranty in accordance with California contractor standards.

This warranty covers workmanship-related installation issues under normal use conditions.

It does not cover:

  • Damage caused by misuse, neglect, or abuse

  • Environmental conditions beyond industry standards

  • Substrate failure unrelated to installation workmanship


Commercial Coating Systems

10-Year Limited Warranty

Commercial epoxy and coating systems include a 10-Year Limited Warranty under normal operating conditions.

Coverage Includes:

  • Installation-related delamination

  • Coating system failure not caused by misuse or environmental extremes

This Warranty Does Not Cover:

  • Excessive mechanical damage or abuse

  • Chemical exposure beyond specified system tolerances

  • Structural slab movement or substrate failure

  • Flooding or standing water events

  • Acts of God, force majeure events, or conditions outside normal operating parameters

Commercial warranty terms are reviewed and confirmed in writing prior to project completion.


General Conditions

All warranties apply only to fully paid projects.
Proper maintenance and normal use are required to maintain warranty validity.
Simplicity Flooring & Tile reserves the right to inspect and determine appropriate repair methods.
Warranty remedies are limited to repair or replacement of the affected area at our discretion.

This warranty policy does not extend beyond the terms stated above.

Is the residential coating warranty transferable?
